Femoflor
Femoflor - this is a modern study based on the Real-time PCR method, which allows comprehensive assessment of the vaginal microflora: determining the number of lactobacilli, conditionally pathogenic microorganisms and detecting sexually transmitted diseases.
Unlike traditional research methods, where subjective factors are high and it is impossible to accurately examine the full spectrum of infection, in case of Femoflor, the specificity and sensitivity of the test is 97%, and with one study/testing we can assess the vaginal microflora, determine the ratio of normal and conditionally pathogenic flora to determine the dysbiosis and investigate sexually transmitted diseases.
Laboratory Mksta offers two profiles of Femoflor testing: Femoflor Screen and Femoflor 16
Femoflor Screen - test composition: normal microflora: Lactobacillus spp.; Conditionally pathogenic anaerobic microorganisms: Gardnerella vaginalis/Prevotella bivia/Porphyromonas spp.; Yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida: Candida spp; Conditionally pathogenic mycoplasma/ureaplasma research: Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma (urealyticum + parvum); Sexually transmitted infections: Chlamydia trachomatis, Trichomonas vaginalis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Mycoplasma genitalium, HSV1, HSV2, CMV.
Femoflor 16 - test composition: normal microflora: Lactobacillus spp. Conditionally pathogenic aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms: Enterobacteriacea, Streptococcus spp., Staphyloccocus spp., Gardnerella vaginalis/Prevotella bivia/Porphyromonas spp, Eubacterium spp., Sneathia spp./Leptotrichia spp/Fusobacterium spp., Megasphaera spp./Veillonella spp./Dialister spp., Lachnobacterium spp./Clostridium spp.Mobiluncus spp./Corynebacterium spp. Peptostreptococcus spp, Atopobium vaginae; Yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida: Candida spp; Conditionally pathogenic mycoplasma/ureaplasma research: Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma (urealyticum + parvum); Sexually transmitted infections: Mycoplasma genitalium.
